Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preaching & Teaching: Prepare and deliver biblically grounded messages.
- Pastoral Care: Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and prayer.
- Spiritual Leadership: Cast vision, shepherd the congregation, and equip members.
- Church Administration: Manage church staff and volunteers.
- Ceremonies: Officiate religious rites including weddings, funerals, baptisms, and communion.
- Outreach: Develop and implement community outreach and evangelism programs.
Requirements:
- Education: Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or a related degree from an accredited Bible college or seminary.
- Ordination: Valid ministerial credentialing or ordination recognized by a valid denomination or church network.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of prior experience in an associate pastoral, youth, or lead ministry role.
- Theological Alignment: Unwavering agreement with the IEC specific Statement of Faith, doctrinal standards, and core values.
- Character: A life and moral standing that aligns with the Bible (e.g., 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1).
